What’s more, Prescott Circle gives patrons intimate glimpses of Granite Mountain and Thumb Butte. Because it is such a comprehensive trail system, Prescott Circle consists of several smaller loops and corridors. 

Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park is an excellent place for the beginner to intermediate mountain bikers. Hugging the northern fringe of Prescott, Pioneer offers approximately 280 acres of picturesque hillsides and panoramic views of the sprawling natural skyline. While there are a few reasonably technical sections, the trails are relatively relaxed for the most part.

Wolverton Mountain

Just south of Prescott, Wolverton Mountain is ideal for those looking for a climb. Wolverton descends nearly 1,300 feet throughout five miles, rewarding its challengers with a much speedier, adrenaline-pumping drop. This trail is a popular destination for hikers, so be sure to be on the lookout for other users, especially on the narrower sections.
